Fitness Club Virtual Tour

 

At Lifestyles we operate an exciting weekly exercise class timetable so that you may invigorate and vary your exercise regime.

Aerobics

A high energy level workout choreographed to music. This class is designed to improve efficiency of the heart and lungs and it’s also a great calorie burner.

Circuit training

An effective and fun multi-station based workout for the whole body. Combining aerobic and muscle work with flexibility training and coordination.

Core stability

A slower class using Fit Balls concentrating on core abdominal strength to improve posture, balance and coordination as well as working all the major muscle groups.

Legs, Bums and Tums

A low impact workout designed to tone, reshape and strengthen. Concentrating on those ‘problematic areas’ of the lower body: thighs, buttocks and abdominals.

Pilates

Helps develop strength, flexibility, endurance and posture without stressing joints. This class will aid relaxation and reduce stress levels.

Slim Fit

Nutritional and exercise advice to help you on your way with a new exercise each week to aid burning calories. Slim club is followed by a power walking class, making the perfect combination.

Total Abs - Abs Attack

A short and effective 15 minute session that focuses on exercises for toning and strengthening the mid torso.

Cyclone

Group indoor cycling incorporating top choreography and motivational coaching techniques. This explosive class is designed to improve your cardiovascular fitness and endurance, whilst strengthening lower body and burning calories with no impact. Beginners need to arrive five minutes early.

Specialist Classes

We also run a number of specialist classes there are:

Bollywood Dance

Classes consist of Bollywood moves incorporating a fusion of Indian classical, folk- bhang, arabic, latino & hiphop/funk styles. Learn basic moves to put together into a fun dance routine. Children’s classes also available - a cool workout for your kids.

Tae Kwon Do

A cross between traditional and sport Karate. Wado Ryu style offering self defence, self discipline, fitness and fun.

Win Chun

A class which teaches a form of unarmed combat and the understanding of one's own body mechanics. Through Wing Chun a practitioner develops both mental and physical improvements and advantages - for example, better body structure, greater fitness, a keen sense of awareness, improved timing, and increased precision and control over one's movements

Yoga

Yoga balances your mind, body and spirit through the practice of meditation, breathing exercises and asanas (physical postures), all of which are known to increase energy levels, improve flexibility and enhance general health and well-being.

Salsa

A unique 6 week dance class open to both and male and female participants. This class is open to any age or ability helping promote all over body tone.

Rental

Lifestyles studio is available for hire outside the hours of classes. Please call and speak to an instructor for further information.
